This article describes how developers can test their integration works live within mtribes with the event viewer feature. This new area is in the Developer section under the Event data tab.
Topics covered here:
What is the event viewer?
The mtribes event viewer allows developers to turn on the tracking function and test that their events are being successfully sent from their app and received by mtribes with all the correct details and in the appropriate structure.
How do I capture events?
Select the Capture events button to start capturing events for viewing. Events continue to come through live until the Stop button is selected or until 10 minutes have passed when the action stops automatically. A maximum of 100 events can be viewed at any one time.
Navigating away from this Developer page clears the tabs and the events already received. To continue capturing events again, re-select the Capture events button.
Key information relating to captured events displays in a table. To view full details of a specific event, select an event to display the JSON.
